Universal’s Islands of Adventure is one of two parks that make up Universal Studios Orlando Resort. Full of water rides, prize-winning rollercoasters and other attractions, the park has six themed areas as follows:

·         Toon Lagoon – This park is all about cartoon characters, with 150 life-sized sculptures of your favourite pals. Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls is a wacky combination of rollercoaster and log-flume ride. Prepare to get wet!

·         Seuss Landing – Ten funfilled acres of fun with a Dr Seuss theme. Younger children will appreciate the Caro-Seuss-El, a ride on a couch through The Cat on the Hat, and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, a ride where they steer their own colourful fish through a children’s book that magically comes to life.

·         Marvel Super Hero Island – This park is home to four rides suitable for older, more adventurous children, not to mention braver adults! Hard to pick a highlight, but it would probably be the ground-breaking Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, complete with roving motion vehicles and 3D special effects.

·         Jurassic Park – A mixture of gentle, educational attractions with daring rides, Pteranodon Flyers and Jurassic Park River Adventure.

·         The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – A mystical, magical based on J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series of books. The only place in the world where you will find the ultimate adrenalin rush, Dragon Challenge, two duelling inverted rollercoasters, vying for supremacy. Don’t get caught in the middle! On Flight of the Hippogriff, Hagrid teaches you the correct way to mount this mythical creature for the ride of your life. Experience ground-breaking technology on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey for a tour through Hogwarts as you’ve never seen it before!

·         The Lost Continent – Not the place where lost socks congregate, it’s a legendary undersea adventure from ancient Greece. Don’t miss the Eighth Voyage of Sinbad, a spectacular live stunt show that takes place in the 1,700-seat theatre.
