Mrs. Brown’s Boys is a television sitcom created by Brendan O’Carroll. O’Carroll stars as his drag persona, Agnes Brown, with several close friends and family members making up the rest of the cast. The show has an informal style with tomfoolery, instigated by O’Carroll.

Mrs. Brown’s Kitchen has launched a range of bakery-fresh Puff Pastry Crowns. Each Crown is a little parcel of golden, flaky puff pastry filled with delicious ingredients. There are two varieties in the range, each with their own unique fillings: Ham and Cheese Crowns – Ham and Emmental cheese in a creamy sauce, wrapped in her delicious and fluffy puff pastry. Chicken Fajita – tasty mix of chicken, Cheddar cheese and vegetables in a spicy fajita sauce, wrapped in her delicious and fluffy puff pastry.

Irish pastry supplier Golden Bake has teamed up with TV show Mrs Brown’s Boys for a new frozen pastry brand.

The pastries, which can be baked in 25 minutes, would “bring Mammy’s cooking straight to the homes of hungry families across the UK with a range of ready-to-bake pastry treats”, said the brand.

Cook from frozen on a baking tray what could be easier for a Christmas treat.

Exclusively into Iceland (£1.25).
