London children are being invited back to the dentist in a new initiative run by Dental Beauty Partners and Henry Schein Dental. The scheme will provide essential dental care for free to 2,300 underprivileged children.

The initiative kicks off in London on Monday 12th February at Dental Beauty Partners in Battersea.  From 10am Dental Beauty Partners 49 Kersley Street Battersea London SW11 4PR

Dental Beauty Partners will open the doors of 19 of the company’s clinics in and around London, demonstrating the spirit of partnership and the willingness of the dental community to help those most in need. “Working with Henry Schein on this cause aligns with our spirit of giving back. We are delighted to be part of an initiative that can have such a positive impact on the lives of so many children,” said Dev Patel, CEO and founder of Dental Beauty Partners.

Henry Schein Dental, in its desire to continue addressing the need for accessible dental care among those who need it most, is partnering with Dental Beauty Partners, a UK dental practice group, to provide critical dental services to up to 2,300 children. The organizing teams from both, Henry Schein and Dental Beauty Partners, will actively engage with food banks, schools, and local children’s centres to identify and reach out to the children and young people most in need. The dental clinics for these children will be run from 12 to 22 February 2024.

In addition to providing dental check-ups and treatment, the team will seek to create a welcoming and engaging environment for the participants, with activities aimed at alleviating the fear of visiting the dentist. And to ensure that children keep up with the dental care after the programme, Henry Schein will provide each child with a kit of essential dental care supplies for a daily oral health care routine.

“At Henry Schein, we believe in doing well by doing good, and giving back to the community is an example of that. Every child deserves to have healthy teeth and a healthy smile, and with this initiative we are helping to make that a reality for many children who have limited or no access to dental care,” said James Selter, Co-Chair at Henry Schein Cares UK.
