August drawing to a close doesn’t mean the end of family fun for parents this Summer, as Alton Towers Resort transforms into a Bavarian wonderland for its popular Oktoberfest event this Saturday (7th September).

Guests can expect a family festival with exclusive entertainment, covered seating and more than 40 exhilarating world-class rides and attractions.

The Oktoberfest festivities and entertainment continue for a whole hour each day after rides close – come rain or shine – with the Resort’s covered seating area allowing visitors to dive into exciting performances including all the classic Oompa sounds with a modern twist.

New for 2024, the Resort has also introduced a delicious German-inspired menu where those booking in advance can grab exclusive savings. The new offering includes a Grill Platter with Frikadellen Pork Meatballs, Kartoffeln – Herbed Potatoes with Bacon and Käsespätzle – German Egg Noodles with Cheese, as well as Raclette Cheese and a range of new pretzel flavours.

To compliment this new range of culinary delights, new beverages have also been developed including the locally brewed Fantastich Lager, Bierplanken – where visitors can enjoy three half pints of German beers – as well as a Radler Cocktail and a brand-new Coca-Cola Freestyle flavour named Alton Oompah!

Food and drink packages are available too, with prices starting from as little as £16 for the Oktoberfest Brat & Pretzel Pair including a bratwurst, large cinnamon pretzel and soft drink.

Families can take advantage of the exclusive, online Parent & Toddler Pass offer, which is available for visits on selected dates during off-peak periods for just £29 an adult and a toddler (aged 5 and under). Parents can also add on an extra child aged five or under for just £5. To find out more, visit Parent & Toddler Pass (altontowers.com)
