Whether guests are enjoying a summer day out or a staycation, Chessington has a whole host of brand-new live entertainment shows, character ‘meet & greets’ and immersive experiences, alongside thrilling rides and exotic animals making it the ultimate summer destination for the whole family.

Every day until 31st August, guests can enjoy two brand new summer shows that are sure to get the whole family singing and dancing with some wow-worthy characters:

  • Unleash the inner party animal with Wild Beats: Battle for The Crown. Animals join Chessington’s resident DJ, MC Meowy, for the ultimate dance-off to win the Party Animal Crown. Guests can expect a high-energy, rave-tastic live show, where they’ll throw giant inflatables, take part in a sing-along, and get caught in a spray off before busting out their best moves
  • Lands Unite: The Grand Adventure brings together whimsical characters from the park’s ‘worlds of adventure’ for a flash-mob style performance like no other.

Young guests can also meet their heroes and bring their dreams to life with an array of interactive character meet & greets this summer with favourites like CoComelon and Gruffalo characters as well as this year’s new additions, PAW Patrol Pups, Skye, Chase, and Rubble. It’s the PAW-fect opportunity to meet the pups ahead of the launch of Chessington’s PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms opening in October and the PAW Patrol-themed land coming to the park in spring 2026.

Dive into Animal Crossing: New Horizons at SEA LIFE Aquarium this summer from 1st– 31st August. The renowned life simulation game from Nintendo has collaborated with SEA LIFE to offer an immersive experience where guests can create their own paradise on a deserted island and interact with residents. Visitors are given an excursion guide to explore the SEA LIFE islands and will meet Tom Nook and residents including Aurora, Molly, or Lily, and discover marine creatures with the help of Blathers. Guests can take part in a fossil dig to trace marine life ancestors, search for the sailor, Gulliver, and collect stamps from the residents of the SEA LIFE to claim a reward.

Parents looking to make the summer fun go even further can take advantage of Merlin Entertainments’ Twice the Fun offer. Running until 17th August, the offer allows guests to plan two unforgettable days out for the price of a single ticket, for visits up to 30th September at one of the UK’s four biggest and best-loved theme parks: Chessington World of Adventures, LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Alton Towers Resort, and Thorpe Park.

Guests booking a short break at Chessington can also save big this summer, by getting a second day in the theme park completely free* for double the fun and double the memories.

With so much to see and do, Chessington World of Adventures is bursting with unforgettable summer experiences. Whether it’s wild rides or discovering more than 1,000 animals at Chessington Zoo & SEA LIFE Aquarium, there’s so much for all the family to choose from.
