New Accommodation: Experimental Chalet Val d’Isère

This winter, Val d’Isère introduces the luxurious Experimental Chalet Val d’Isère, set to open in the heart of the old village. Designed by Dorothée Milichzon, this stunning four-star hotel boasts 113 rooms, suites, and loft apartments, featuring a design inspired by the local alpine forests and the traditional Savoie style.

Guests can indulge in two restaurants: one serving hearty alpine dishes with a focus on wood-fired cuisine, and the other offering cosy sharing platters. There’s also an Experimental Cocktail Club and a tranquil spa, making this the ultimate spot for après-ski relaxation.

Vallon Gondola – A Modern Marvel

New for the 2024 season, the Vallon Gondola will transport skiers up to the Pisaillas Glacier in just under seven minutes. Accommodating up to 10 passengers at a time and reaching 2,790 metres, this cutting-edge gondola promises a faster, safer, and more comfortable ride with a reduced environmental impact.

Family Fun at La Folie Douce

La Folie Douce, the ultimate après-ski venue, has plenty of family-friendly fun on offer this winter. Little ones can enjoy exclusive kids-only parties during the school holidays, complete with fancy dress and live DJ sets. There’s also a children’s club with snow sculpture workshops, mini golf, and more. For the grown-ups, La Folie Douce hosts yoga brunches, cooking classes, and cabaret rehearsals – ensuring fun for all ages.

New Restaurants – A Feast for the Senses

This season, Airelles Val d’Isère opens its doors with a new Italian restaurant, Palladio, serving classic Italian dishes with a Venetian twist. Another new dining option, Les Fils à Maman, offers a nostalgic, family-friendly menu in a cosy, chalet-style setting. Foodies will also enjoy the sustainable delights of L’Art des Mets, which uses locally sourced and organic ingredients from the surrounding regions.

Exclusive Winter Events

This winter, visitors can experience world-class events like the FIS World Cup on 14th-15th December and the renowned Classical Music Festival from 13th-16th January 2025. These events bring a touch of glamour and excitement to Val d’Isère’s snowy peaks.

Smart Skiing with Great Deals

Families and beginners will find excellent value with exclusive deals early and late in the season. Young skiers under 8 can enjoy free lift passes, and the Solaise sector offers reduced passes for those learning to ski. Quiet slopes, peaceful landscapes, and great prices make this an ideal time to visit.
