Disney+ has unveiled the official trailer and key art for the highly anticipated series, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. Fans of the original Wizards of Waverly Place can now get a first glimpse of the magical mayhem and lovable characters they remember, with exciting new twists and fresh faces.
A new chapter for the Russo family
In Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, we follow an adult Justin Russo, played by David Henrie, as he juggles his mortal life with his family—Giada, Roman, and Milo. When his sister, Alex (Selena Gomez), turns up with Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown), a young wizard in need of mentorship, Justin must dust off his magical skills to train Billie while keeping his family and the wizarding world safe.
First nine episodes release on Disney+ October 30, brings back the magic fans adored, with an added layer of adulthood and family dynamics.
Star-studded cast and creative team
Original star David Henrie,has fresh talent such as Janice LeAnn Brown (Billie), Alkaio Thiele (Roman Russo), and Max Matenko (Milo Russo). Fans will also be thrilled to see Selena Gomez reprise her role as Alex Russo in a guest appearance.
The pilot was directed by Andy Fickman, who will continue to direct several episodes.
