Margate’s iconic seafront park, Dreamland, has revealed a flurry of exciting Christmas events for 2024, offering festive fun for the entire family.
This year, Dreamland’s traditional grotto experience has been transformed into a whimsical, interactive journey to meet Santa in the Magical Festive Grotto (14–15, 19–23 December). Guided by Santa’s elves, children will enjoy an enchanting walkthrough before meeting Santa himself. Each child will receive a present box containing a cuddly teddy and a specially designed Christmas storybook. Highlights include crafting reindeer food to take home and decorating baubles.
Returning for 2024, Christmas World offers a dazzling array of attractions, entertainment, and activities in the magical atmosphere of Dreamland. Entry is free for all, and visitors can explore winter market stalls brimming with seasonal gifts, indulge in warming food and drinks, and enjoy the return of the popular indoor snowball fights (for ages 3–10, additional charge applies). Christmas World will be open from 11:00am on 14–15 and 19–23 December.
Ultimate Christmas World Package
New for this year, Dreamland is offering the Ultimate Christmas World Package. This includes the Magical Festive Grotto experience, a keepsake digital photo with Santa, tickets to the indoor snowball fight, a children’s seasonal snack box, and an electric sleigh ride for little ones and their grown-ups.
For adults, Dreamland is introducing Christmas Party Nights (19 & 20 December). These special nights out will feature a live band Rockaoke experience, DJ, street food, a welcome drink, and full bar service—perfect for celebrating with colleagues, friends, or family.
