As a mum to a wriggly, curious 17-month-old, finding the right sleepwear for the cooler months has been a bit of a mission — until now. We recently tried the Love to Dream™ Sleep Suit Long Sleeve 2.5 TOG in the new Storm Blue print, and honestly, I’m blown away. Not only is it absolutely adorable, but it’s also been a total game-changer for our bedtime routine.
Let’s talk first about the design — the new prints are even cuter in person than online. It feels gender-neutral but still playful, and it immediately became a favourite in our nursery rotation. The quality of the cotton is noticeable — it’s super soft and warm without feeling bulky or restrictive.
The 2.5 TOG rating has been perfect as the weather’s turned cooler. It keeps my baby warm enough throughout the night without the need for extra blankets (which we’re trying to avoid for safety reasons). The brushed cotton fleece feels plush and luxurious — I’d wear one myself if they made them in adult sizes!
One of the standout features for me is the sleep suit design — it’s ideal for babies who are on the move. My little one loves rolling and practicing her crawling even in her sleep, and the suit gives her the freedom to do that without kicking off covers or getting tangled. The built-in legs and sleeves mean she stays fully covered and warm all night long.
The zippers are high quality and cleverly placed, making those inevitable nighttime nappy changes so much easier (and quieter!). And after several washes, the suit has held up beautifully — no shrinkage or fading, which is a big plus in my book.
I also appreciate the thoughtful touches — everything from the cosy cuffs to the breathable cotton lining feels designed with both baby and parent in mind. It’s these small details that make the difference when you’re using something every night.
Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with Love to Dream™’s new range. It ticks every box for comfort, safety, practicality, and style. I’ll definitely be purchasing another in one of the other prints (eyeing the Twinkle Powder Blue next!).
We also tried the Love to Dream™ baby hooded towel and it’s quickly become a bath-time favourite. The cotton blend is wonderfully soft and absorbent, making the wrap-up after a bath feel luxurious. The hood is generously cut, keeping baby’s head warm and snug without sliding off. I love the subtle prints—like the Cream Bees and White Cloud Bunnies—cute but not overwhelming. At “one size,” it’s versatile enough for newborn through toddler. After several washes, it’s retained its shape and softness. A lovely, practical addition to any baby’s bath routine.
Highly recommend for any parent looking to invest in quality wear this autumn/winter. Worth every penny.
