TICKETS ON SALE NOW: Who Let The Gods Out (7 Feb – 22 March) at Polka Theatre

Polka Theatre has revealed first-look rehearsal images for Who Let The Gods Out – a laugh-out-loud, brand-new stage musical inspired by the first book in Maz Evans’ bestselling series.

Perfect for families, this epic adventure follows Elliot Hooper, whose life is already chaotic (ill mum, a posh neighbour trying to take his home… and a tiny mistake involving an evil death daemon). Just when things can’t get worse, Virgo the constellation crash lands in his garden and launches Elliot into a wild quest with a legendary bunch of Greek Gods to save the world… and hopefully his own too.

Cast includes:

  • Andy Owens as Elliot

  • Nadia Wyn Abouayen as Virgo

  • Harriet O’Grady as Patricia Porshley Plum / Josie / The Queen

  • Jazz Evans as Zeus / Thanatos

  • Stephan Boyce as Hermes

The show features a book and lyrics by Maz Evans, with music by Luke Bateman, and is directed by Ria Perry. Design comes from Katie Lias (set and costumes), with sound by Martin Wiggins and lighting by Nic Farman.

Polka Theatre Artistic Director Helen Matravers said the production is “heartfelt, hilarious and magical,” promising plenty of laughs, dancing, and an unforgettable family theatre experience.

Who Let The Gods Out runs 7 February – 22 March at Polka Theatre, Wimbledon. Tickets are on sale now.
