BabyBjörn Baby Feeding & Dinner Set Review: A Mum’s Must-Have for Weaning and Mess-Free Mealtimes

As a mum, mealtimes can be… unpredictable. Between flying spoons, rejected veggies and more food on the floor than in little mouths, anything that makes feeding easier is a win in my book. That’s why I was so pleased to try the **BabyBjörn Baby Feeding Set and Baby Dinner Set—and honestly, they’ve made a real difference in our daily routine.

We started with the Baby Feeding Set when my little one was just beginning solids, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for those early days. The bowl is lightweight but feels really sturdy, and I love the ergonomic design—it’s easy to hold in one hand while feeding with the other (which is essential when your baby suddenly decides to grab the spoon!). The feeding spoon itself is brilliantly designed too, with a long handle and a soft blade that’s gentle on little gums. It made introducing new textures so much smoother and less stressful.

I also have to mention the bib included in the set—it’s become a staple in our house. The soft neckline means no complaints from my little one, and the deep pocket actually catches food (a small miracle!). It’s saved so many outfits from total disaster.

As my child has grown more confident with self-feeding (and more determined to do everything independently!), we moved on to the Baby Dinner Set—and this is where it really shines. The plate’s clever trefoil design is such a simple idea, but it works so well. Food gathers neatly into sections, making it much easier for little hands to scoop up. I’ve noticed far less frustration at mealtimes, which means fewer meltdowns for both of us.

The spoon and fork are perfectly sized for small hands, and I love that they don’t just slide straight into the plate. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into the design. The cup is another favourite—stable, easy to grip, and I don’t have to panic every time it’s knocked (which happens a lot!).

What I really appreciate about both sets is how practical they are for real family life. Everything feels durable, easy to clean and designed with both babies and parents in mind. Plus, the soft pastel colours are lovely—subtle, modern and perfect if you’re buying as a gift (we’ve already given one set to a friend for Easter!).

Overall, I’d absolutely recommend the BabyBjörn feeding range to other mums. It takes a lot of the stress out of weaning and self-feeding, helps build independence, and—most importantly—makes mealtimes feel a little more enjoyable (and a lot less messy!).
