Disneyland Paris has launched a brand new show at Disney Adventure World, inviting guests to join Rapunzel, Moana, Raya and Tiana on an interactive adventure. Disney Princess Cavalcade takes place several times a day along the shores of Adventure Bay and is now a permanent, year-round feature of the park.
The princesses travel through the park aboard themed floats before stopping for an interactive celebration inspired by their courage and adventurous spirit.
Where the cavalcade takes place
The route begins in front of the area that will eventually become an immersive world based on The Lion King. It passes The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge before returning to its starting point. Partway through, the princesses step down from their floats to lead the crowd in signature moves, with Moana teaching choreography inspired by Pacific Island dance and Raya demonstrating movements influenced by martial arts. Selected guests are invited to join in alongside the princesses’ companions.
Behind the scenes
The new experience took more than 18 months to develop, with 287 hours of rehearsals. The floats were created by a specialist street art company based in Nice and recreate Motunui, the Heart Palace, the streets of New Orleans and The Snuggly Duckling tavern, the worlds of Moana, Raya, Tiana and Rapunzel respectively. Costumes were designed in-house at Disneyland Paris and crafted in France.
The level of detail extends to the accessories. Around 120 metres of fringe were handcrafted for Moana’s kites, 900 pieces of fabric were sewn onto Raya’s dragons, 24 hand-painted feathers decorate the staffs of Tiana’s companions, and 13 sculpted ducks appear on Rapunzel’s float.
Two original songs were written for the show and recorded by around 50 musicians across Nashville and Paris.
With the new cavalcade in place, the Disney Marching Band, led by Minnie Mouse, has ended its run at the park. Minnie will instead debut a new Victorian-inspired costume and make occasional meet-and-greet appearances at the West Pavilion.
Visiting Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris has shared a price example for visiting Disney Adventure World: from £175 per person per night at Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe, including a ticket package for unlimited access to Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. This is based on two adults and two children aged 3 to 11 staying two nights and three days, and is valid as of 27th July 2026 and may change afterwards.
