Families can get into the autumn spirit this October as the popular Cotswold Farm Park Pumpkin Patch returns, giving visitors the chance to pick their own pumpkin and enjoy a day of seasonal fun.
The Pumpkin Patch will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout October, with additional dates during the October half-term from 21 to 31 October.
Pick your own pumpkin
One of the highlights for families is the chance to head into the field and choose a pumpkin to take home.
The pumpkins are grown locally by independent Cotswold farmers and come in a range of shapes and sizes, from small ornamental varieties to giant pumpkins, with prices based on size.
Once you’ve found your perfect pumpkin, you can either take it home to carve or get creative at the on-site pumpkin carving tent. The friendly Cotswold Farm Park team will be on hand to offer guidance, while carving kits are also available to take home.
Autumn fun for all the family
There are plenty of opportunities for some memorable family photos, with autumn-themed selfie stations around the Pumpkin Patch – including special selfie spots for dogs.
Families wanting something a little more professional can also book a photography session to capture their visit.
At weekends, children can embrace the spooky season with face painting, while the onsite food trucks will be serving up warming autumn treats, including pumpkin spiced lattes and Pie & Mash.
And the family dog doesn’t have to miss out. The Pumpkin Patch is dog friendly, with dedicated selfie opportunities for four-legged visitors too.
Pumpkin Patch after dark
There is also the chance to enjoy the Pumpkin Patch after dark on Saturdays from 10 October, when the attraction will stay open until 8.30pm.
Visitors can enjoy live music from local performers while soaking up the autumn atmosphere.
Accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs
The Pumpkin Patch is located on flat ground and has cut pathways, making it accessible for wheelchair users, pushchairs and visitors with mobility requirements.
This makes it a particularly useful option for families looking for an autumn day out that can accommodate different mobility needs.
