Swedish childrenswear brand Polarn O. Pyret, known as PO.P, has released its autumn 2026 outerwear collection. The new range covers children aged 0 to 10 years and is available online at polarnopyret.com and in stores now.
The collection promises durable, breathable and 100% waterproof outerwear designed for everything from playground fun to rainy school walks. PO.P says every garment is made to be worn by three children or more, in keeping with the brand’s focus on clothes that can be passed down.
Waterproof, windproof and made to move
At the heart of the range is PO.P’s snap-in layering system, which combines a waterproof outer layer with a choice of cosy mid layers. Parents can mix and match the brand’s Waterproof Stormy Shell Jacket with windproof fleeces, soft fleeces, puffer jackets and gilets, depending on the weather.
The Stormy Shell Jacket, for ages 9 months to 10 years, returns in new autumnal shades for this season. It has a 12,000mm water column rating, along with an adjustable hood, a draw cord hem and adjustable cuffs, and is designed to be lightweight and breathable while keeping children dry in heavy rain.
Fleece layers and puddlesuits
For extra warmth, PO.P’s Windproof Fleece can be popped into the Stormy Shell Jacket to create a 3-in-1 layering solution, or worn on its own. The autumn launch brings new colours and prints, including a sunny yellow, dusty pink, a floral and polka dot design, and a classic stripe. The fleeces are made from 100% recycled materials and include reflectors for visibility in low light.
For children aged 2 to 6, the new puddlesuits offer top to toe waterproof and windproof protection, with fully taped seams and elasticated cuffs. They have an adjustable, detachable hood and a removable fleece lining, so they can be adapted to the weather, and come in matching colours and prints to the rest of the collection.
Pramsuits and accessories
The youngest members of the family are covered too, with refreshed pramsuits featuring a soft, removable fleece lining in new autumnal shades including brown, sage and burgundy. They have an elasticated waist, cuffs and legs, along with an inner storm flap behind the zips to keep draughts out.
The collection also includes a range of coordinating accessories for ages 0 to 10, among them beanie hats, snoods, gloves and mittens.
PO.P 50 anniversary collection
As part of its 2026 anniversary celebrations, PO.P has also launched the third instalment of its limited-edition PO.P 50 collection, which pays tribute to the garments that first established the brand. The line includes a classic blue waterproof shell jacket with matching gloves, waterproof trousers and a red windproof fleece.
