Gameface Manchester review: a brilliant October half term day out

We visited Gameface Manchester and loved it. Read our review of the games, staff and atmosphere, and why it makes a great October half term day out.

Looking for something a little different to do this October half term? Gameface in Manchester is a games venue packed with something for everyone, and it’s somewhere you definitely need to add to your list.

We recently headed to Gameface Manchester for a gifted visit, and honestly, what an absolutely brilliant time we had. We laughed, we got ridiculously competitive, and we genuinely could have stayed all day.

Games, games and more games at Gameface Manchester

There’s such a fantastic variety of games at Gameface, with something for everyone to get stuck into.

Some had us laughing uncontrollably, others required a little more concentration, and a few brought out our very competitive sides.

Speaking of which, I’m Jess, and I’ll happily admit that I got a little too competitive. But I’m also very pleased to announce that I won. And yes, I’m absolutely going to keep mentioning it!

What I loved most was that everyone could get involved. It’s just good, old-fashioned fun with a brilliant modern twist.

Brilliant staff and a great atmosphere

The staff deserve a special mention because they were genuinely fantastic.

A couple of times we weren’t entirely sure how to play a game, and before we’d even asked, someone had spotted us and come over to help explain everything. It’s those little touches that really make a difference.

There’s also a really well-stocked bar, making it a great place to spend a few hours having fun.

Not just for the kids

One of the best things about Gameface is that it’s perfect for so many different occasions.

Whether you’re planning a family day out, celebrating a birthday, getting a group of mates together or just fancy doing something different, this place is brilliant.

It’s not just somewhere to take the kids. Adults will have just as much fun, trust me.

Our Parents News verdict

We absolutely loved Gameface. The games, the atmosphere and the staff were all fantastic.

We had so much fun, and it’s definitely somewhere we’d love to visit again.

If you’re wondering what to do with the kids this October half term, we’d absolutely recommend giving Gameface Manchester a visit. A huge thumbs up from the Parents News crew.
