Bluey Ride Alton Towers: First Look at “Here Come the Grannies” CBeebies Land Coaster

Captivating drone footage has unveiled the brand-new Bluey-themed attraction at Alton Towers Resort, offering fans a first glimpse of this one-of-a-kind experience.

Families and Bluey enthusiasts can enjoy Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! from March 28 at CBeebies Land. The newly released footage, filmed from a “kid’s-eye view,” brings the junior coaster to life—showcasing a world-first ride designed especially for younger guests.

The preview reveals exciting, never-before-seen details, including a recreation of Bluey’s iconic family home, which doubles as a perfect photo opportunity for visitors. Inspired by the fan-favourite episode featuring the mischievous Grannies Janet and Rita, the ride captures the playful spirit of Bluey and Bingo’s imaginative adventures.

Grannies Car

Viewers can watch as the Grannies’ Car departs the station, offering a fun glimpse of Janet and Rita’s famously chaotic driving. The track winds through Bluey’s backyard, full of twists and turns that reflect the boundless energy and charm of the beloved show.

Created with pre-schoolers and young families in mind, the ride experience mirrors the perspective of its youngest fans—making it both immersive and accessible.

Alongside the new coaster, visitors can continue to enjoy popular Bluey experiences at the resort, including meet-and-greets with Bluey, Bingo, Mum (Chilli), and Dad (Bandit), as well as live entertainment at Big Fun Showtime. The resort has also announced plans to expand its Bluey-themed hotel rooms at the CBeebies Land Hotel.

With these additions, Alton Towers Resort is cementing its place as a must-visit destination for families and Bluey fans alike.

Howard Ebison, Vice President of Alton Towers Resort, said he was thrilled to offer fans a first look at the new attraction, describing it as an experience that brings Bluey’s energy to life for guests of all ages.

Natasha Spence, Events Director at BBC Studios, added that the footage highlights exactly why excitement is building—giving audiences the chance to experience Bluey’s first-ever coaster through a child’s eyes.

Guests can also book a short break at the Alton Towers Hotel, combining rides, live entertainment, and themed accommodation—including immersive Bluey rooms at the UK’s only CBeebies Land Hotel—for a memorable family getaway.
