The Ice Rink and Winterland to return to Bluewater this Christmas.
The Ice Rink will return from Friday 7th November until Sunday 4th January 2025, whereas Winterland will be open from Saturday 8th November until Sunday 11th January 2026. Both activities will be situated outside the Village, near Zizzi’s.
Offering plenty of fun for guests of all ages, the undercover Ice Rink will be open every day until Sunday 4thJanuary (excluding Christmas Day) and will run quiet sessions, as well as parent and toddler sessions for budding skaters. Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones, and the Ice Rink’s party nights are back by popular demand – playing classic party anthems to soundtrack your skating session.
Bluewater’s magical outdoor, festive event, Winterland, will invite guests to enjoy winter-themed funfair rides – including the brand-new for 2025 Traditional Waveswinger, alongside an exciting range of white-knuckle rides and family favourites like the bumper cars and waltzers.
The news around the return of Bluewater’s Winterland and Ice Rink follows the opening of several festive pop-ups including Christmas Supermarket and official merch provider, Fan Club, which are located on the Upper Rose Gallery, alongside Christmas Magic on the Upper Thames Walk.

Braintree Village Ice Rink
Braintree Village has announced that its ice rink is set to return for a third season next month as part of the Essex-based outlet village’s Christmas celebrations, with tickets on sale now.
Set to create an enchanting environment for guests to enjoy throughout the fun-filled festive season, the 550-metre undercover ice rink will open to the public on Tuesday 11th November for over 7 weeks.
Featuring real ice, and designed and installed by Icescape, the custom-built ice rink will be located adjacent to the top of the North Car Park. The rink will return with more events and offers than ever before, with fun themed events taking place throughout the season, as well as regular Friday Disco Nights, 2-for-1 skates, plus special Parent & Toddler and Quiet Sessions.
Open Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day until Sunday 4th January, with pre-bookable 45-minute sessions and skate hire included.
Skaters and spectators will be able to warm up after their session in one of Braintree Village’s eateries, as well as finding the very best Christmas gifts at more than 75 premium brands offering up to 60% off RRP.
Tickets for ice-skating sessions are priced from £13.50 for children aged 12 and under, £15.50 for adults, and from £50 for family tickets.
