A British business with a colourful story
Founded in 1996 by Andy Jupp and Jules Cooper, Paper Starlights began when the couple discovered traditional illuminated paper stars during Diwali celebrations in India. Inspired by their beauty, they began working with the family who made them – a partnership that continues to this day.
What started with an aluminium trunk full of lanterns and a Ford Sierra estate has grown into a much-loved British business. Today, Paper Starlights can be found at popular Christmas markets, including Winchester and Blenheim Palace, and has created spectacular star installations at Bath Abbey and London’s King’s Cross.
Thirty years on, the brand continues to bring traditional craftsmanship and colourful design into homes across Britain.
