Yoto has launched Disney’s 5 Minute Moana Stories, a new collection of eight bite-sized tales set on the shores of Motunui, timed to coincide with the release of Disney’s live-action Moana film. The screen-free audio card is designed for children aged 3 to 6 and features Disney favourites Moana, Maui, Pua and Heihei.
The stories are narrated by Hawaiian American voice actor Leila Patato and are built around Yoto’s shorter “5 Minute Stories” format, giving families a quick adventure to dip into rather than a full-length story.
5 Minute Moana Stories joins Yoto’s existing Moana range, which has included stories and soundtracks from the first two films since 2021. The launch also arrives ten years on from the original animated Moana film, which premiered in 2016, and lands alongside the new live-action version now in cinemas.
Made for busy family moments
Jess Tarrant, Content Director at Yoto, said the shorter format was designed with everyday family life in mind. “We’re excited to collaborate with Disney to bring Moana to Yoto in our shorter 5 Minute Stories format. For families with young children, these are made for busy family life: stories kids can enjoy in the car, in a spare moment, or just before bed,” she said.
“With eight tales to choose from, kids can settle in for a single quick adventure or the whole series, with something to suit every part of the day,” Tarrant added.

The Yoto card edition of 5 Minute Moana Stories has a run time of 45 minutes and is priced at £7.99. It is available from Yoto UK and works with both the Yoto Player (£89.99) and the Yoto Mini (£59.99), as well as the free Yoto App.
