Hobbledown Epsom has quietly become one of the best days out for families in the south London and Surrey area and this Easter is no exception. It’s genuinely one of our favourite places to go that gives you all the excitement of a theme park but without the queues and general overcrowding.
The Easter additions, a giant egg trail, bubble party and meet the Easter Bunny, are all included in the price of entry, which feels like really good value.
The outdoor play areas are genuinely impressive, some of the best we’ve seen near London and there’s enough space for kids to properly run around and wear themselves out. There’s also a huge indoor soft play, which means the weather really isn’t a factor if you’re trying to plan a day out in April.
The new addition this year is seven marble runs. You buy a marble for £2.50 and keep it, and it’s one of those deceptively simple things that toddlers absolutely love. Ours spent a long time there.
Beyond the play areas, there are alpacas horses, capybaras and lots more animals to meet, which gives the day a different pace and keeps things interesting for younger children especially.
By the time you leave, they’ll be exhausted. Which is exactly what you want.
