White Rose Shopping Centre is getting into the Halloween spirit this October half term with a free Pumpkin Trail running from Friday 23rd to Saturday 31st October.
Families are invited to explore the centre in search of 12 pumpkins hidden in store windows. Once all 12 have been found, children can claim a sweet treat, making it a fun, free, all-weather activity for the half term break.
How to take part
Pumpkin-hunters can pick up a trail map from Guest Services or at any of White Rose’s entrances. Once the map is complete, simply return it to Guest Services during opening hours to collect the prize. Brands taking part include Primark, New Look, Waterstones and Joe Browns, among others.
For even more seasonal fun, the centre’s Central Atrium will be transformed into a Halloween scene for the whole of half term, complete with skeletons, gargoyles and spooky surprises, perfect for costume photos.
Ashleigh Kellett, Deputy Centre Director at White Rose Shopping Centre, said the trail is “another free activity for families to enjoy this October half term” and that it’s “sure to be a fa-boo-lous spooky season” at the centre.
Foodie families can also take advantage of ‘kids eat free’ offers at Bella Italia and TGI Fridays for the half term, alongside seasonal menus at restaurants across the centre.
With more than 100 stores, leisure activities including Volcano Falls adventure golf and King Pins bowling, and dining options ranging from newly-opened Rassam’s and the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser Café to favourites like Frankster’s, Five Guys and Wingstop, White Rose makes for an easy family day out this autumn. Over 5,000 free parking spaces are available on site.
