Chia Laguna Nature Resort in south Sardinia has expanded its children’s programme for the 2026 summer season, adding a new nature-focused activity scheme alongside its existing kids’ clubs and sports facilities. The resort already offers beach volleyball, padel, multiple swimming pools and sports academies for families staying on site.
A nature-led programme for ages 3 to 17
The new addition, called Chiabù Nature Lovers, is designed around the landscapes, wildlife and culture of south Sardinia. It’s split by age group, with sensory-based activities for Mini Explorers aged 3 to 5, guided outdoor exploration for Cadets aged 6 to 10, and team-based challenges for Juniors aged 11 to 13.
Younger children can take part in eco-green challenges such as kids’ yoga and shell collecting, working towards recognition as certified Nature Explorers. Creative activities include raft building and water-based team games, while a Botanical Atelier offers sensory workshops like petal potion making and leaf art.
Adventure Chia for teenagers
For teenagers aged 14 to 17, the resort runs Adventure Chia, a weekly programme combining sporting competitions, outdoor exploration, wellness sessions and social events, aimed at balancing activity with downtime during the holiday.
Evening entertainment for the whole family
The resort’s evening programme includes family musicals, live concerts and themed nights. New for 2026 is a nightly performance of Hercules: The Legend of Olympus at Piazza degli Ulivi.
More information on the resort’s children’s activities is available on the Chia Laguna website.
