This week Findababysitter.com, the UK’s leading childcare search site is celebrating a major milestone, having just reached its 200,000th registration since its successful launch in 2009.

Back in July 2011, Findababysitter.com announced news on reaching 100k registrations – since then the childcare search site has attracted 100% more members – reaching 200k registrations this week.

Home to every type of childcare professional available – from mothers’ help to full-time live-in nannies, each month Findababysitter.com attracts over 200k monthly visits, 2,100 daily log-ins, and over 10k childcare professionals’ profiles are viewed daily.

Tom Harrow, CEO of Findababysitter.com comments on reaching the fantastic milestone: “The demand for accessible, affordable childcare is on the increase, and this fantasticmilestone confirms exactly that.  Since our launch in 2009 we’ve helped over 60,000 families to find the right childcare professional for their home – that’s a great feeling.

“As the economic downturn continues to make it difficult for employers to offer flexible-working to parents, we’re seeing more and more parents turn to Findababysitter.com for a quick, safe and easy solution that doesn’t cost the earth.”

Making childcare even more affordable, Findababysitter.com launched its ‘Refer-a-Friend’ incentive last month, whereby each member that invites a friend to join receives £10 credit, as does the new member.
