Blenheim Palace announces Fun with the Flock summer adventure AR trail with family favourite Shaun the Sheep

This summer, Blenheim Palace is partnering with the world-famous Shaun the Sheep to create a woolly world of awesome adventure for children, offering endless fun and exploration within Adventure Play, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites outdoor family themed attraction.

Shaun the Sheep: Fun with the Flock AR Trail will run across the summer school holidays from Monday 22nd July to Sunday 1st September in Adventure Play and will feature a variety of engaging activities developed by Shaun’s multi-award-winning creators, Aardman, ensuring an unforgettable family visit.

?Adventure Play at Blenheim Palace encourages children to explore a hidden realm of adventure through a series of interconnecting zones with secret chambers, clamber nets, tunnels, slides, rope bridges and even giant carrots. During the summer holidays, visitors will be guided by the interactive Shaun the Sheep AR app to find and scan nine Fun with the Flock AR markers to unlock animated scenes and challenges with Shaun and the Flock. Along the way, families will have ample selfie moments, play musical stat-ewes, help Bitzer find the Flock and complete his checklist.

?During the six-week Fun with the Flock AR summer adventure trail, families can also enter Blenheim Palace’s selfie competition. Families can take part by sharing their selfie on Instagram and tagging @ShauntheSheep and the hashtag #BlenheimPalaceAdventurePlay. The winner will receive a free annual family Palace & Play Pass as well as a special Blenheim Palace Adventure Play themed goodie bag*

?Visitors will also have the chance to buy Shaun the Sheep merchandise at a special pop-up shop – the perfect stop-off for families looking to track down the ideal souvenir of their day at Blenheim Palace.

?Heather Carter, Managing Director at Blenheim Palace, said: “Following the success with our recent How To Train Your Dragon trail, this summer’s collaboration with the world famous animation experts Aardman is set to be hugely popular. Adventure Play and Shaun the Sheep are perfect partners – they’re both all about creating fun family memories, letting imaginations run wild and lots of laughs.”

?Earlier this year, Blenheim Palace announced the launch of its brand-new Palace and Play Pass, which gives visitors unlimited access to Adventure Play as well as to Blenheim Palace, Park and Gardens*. The Palace and Play Pass is ideal for new visitors who want to enjoy a complete family experience at Britain’s Greatest Palace, and current Annual Pass holders can also upgrade to give them unlimited access to Adventure Play.

?Available at £150 for a family of four (two adults and two children) and at £50 per adult and £40 per child for individual passes, the Palace and Play Pass will allow families to take on the Fun With The Flock Shaun the Sheep trail as many times as they wish this summer.

?Existing Family Annual Pass holders (two adults and two children) can upgrade to the new Palace and Play Pass for £51 and individual annual passes can be upgraded for £18 per child and £12 per adult.
