You’ll be able to chat with the friendly and knowledgeable loco crews, guards and station staff and get a real insight into what it’s like to work on a steam railway.

Or if you prefer a winter trip, then you’ll see frost covered fields, and snow-capped mountains, and pale winter sunshine peaking through the branches lighting up the landscape below.
Enjoy morning coffee, a light lunch, a glass of wine or a refreshing beer, an afternoon snack or a delicious dessert at the Hafod Hotel, just a short stroll across the bridge from the platform.

Take a walk through the historic town of Aberystwyth, stroll on the beach, enjoy a meal or drinks on the seafront, ride the funicular to the top of Constitution Hill, and visit the Aberystwyth Museum in the centre of town.
