Jane McDonald Joins Julian Clary in Star-Studded Palladium Panto for 2024

The excitement is building for this year’s festive extravaganza at the London Palladium with the first-look photo of the highly anticipated Robin Hood panto, starring Julian Clary and Jane McDonald in dazzling costume.

The iconic panto will run from 7 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, bringing together a powerhouse cast. Julian Clary takes on the role of Robin Hood, while Jane McDonald, known for her TV shows Cruising with Jane McDonald and Loose Women, will make her Palladium panto debut as Maid Marion.

Joining them are a host of talented stars including Olivier Award nominees Marisha Wallace as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Charlie Stemp as Alan-A-Dale, alongside Tosh Wanoghu-Maud as Little John. The show will also feature familiar faces such as Rob Madge, Paul Zerdin, and Nigel Havers.

Directed by Michael Harrison and with costumes designed by Hugh Durrant, this year’s panto promises to be a festive highlight. Julian Clary has shared his excitement about the role, comparing his portrayal of Robin Hood to “Tom Hardy with a touch of raspberry lip balm.” Meanwhile, Jane McDonald expressed her thrill at making her debut in this legendary production, adding, “Julian and I are already falling in love off-stage, and we can’t wait to bring this to life.”

With last year’s Peter Pan selling out and receiving rave reviews, Robin Hood is set to be another hit. Tickets will available soon for this unmissable Christmas event. Sign up here to get tickets.
