Spook-tacular Halloween fun

Get ready for a spine-tingling experience this Halloween at Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn in Staffordshire. From Sunday, October 26 to Friday, October 31, the Playbarn transforms into a thrilling Halloween wonderland, perfect for families looking for a fun-filled spooky adventure.

Family-friendly thrills and chills

Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn has plenty of treats in store, with exciting activities designed to delight kids and parents alike. Custodian Charlie Giffard promises a magical transformation of the Playbarn, saying: “It’s the perfect place for little explorers to embrace the spirit of Halloween, with just the right amount of spooky sensations.”

Kids can enjoy fang-tastic face painting, creepy crafts, and spooky story-telling, all in the heart of this haunted house-themed adventure zone. There’s also a fancy dress competition, where the best-dressed little monster will win a free return visit.

Hunt for hidden treats

Get ready for a spooky spider hunt! Children can search the playbarn for hidden letters to spell out a secret word and claim a tasty treat. However, adventurers must stay on their toes, as a mysterious character lurks in the shadows, adding an extra layer of excitement to the hunt!

Indoor and outdoor fun for all ages

Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn has plenty of space for energetic play, no matter the weather. Inside, kids can explore bridges, walkways, tunnels, slides, and ropes in the central turret. Outside, the fun continues with zip lines, swings, slides, a sandpit, and a designated toddler area.

For racing fans, the pedal go-kart track runs from outdoors into the barn, letting children zoom around and set their best lap times.

Refuel with locally-sourced food

After all the excitement, families can relax at the spacious seating areas and picnic benches. The café offers a delicious range of locally-sourced food options, from healthy snacks to indulgent treats. Look out for the new winter menu, available during October half term.

Plan your Hockerhill visit

Tickets for two hours of play are priced at £12 for children (3–18 years), £8 for adults, and £7 for toddlers (1–2 years). Pre-booking is recommended to guarantee entry during the busy half-term period.
