Annual Knowledge Exchange Event from the University of Surrey

26th October 2024, 12-5pm, St Mary’s Church, Guildford

Join researchers from the University of Surrey at our annual Dyspraxia Awareness Day and gain valuable insights into the latest research, strategies, and innovations aimed at better supporting individuals with the condition.

A key highlight of the event will be a panel of adults living with Dyspraxia, who will share their personal experiences and discuss how technology can play a crucial role in enhancing daily life for those affected.

Dyspraxia is a common but often overlooked neurodevelopmental condition that affects motor skills and can significantly impact academic performance and overall quality of life. It remains widely misunderstood across educational, medical, and professional environments, making it challenging for many individuals to access the support they need to reach their full potential.

The event includes presentations, workshops, and interactive demonstrations, and offers attendees the opportunity to contribute to the University’s ongoing research on Dyspraxia. Leave with new knowledge, practical ideas, shared lived experiences, and signposts to support services.

Drop in anytime between 12-5pm and enjoy light refreshments. Pay-and-display parking is available nearby and St Mary’s Church is just a short walk from Guildford mainline train station.
