Halliday explains, “The market combines holiday cheer with Scottish culture, creating a setting that feels iconic and festive.”

In fourth place, Bath Christmas Market has 36,800 hashtags and is celebrated for its beautiful Georgian architecture. This market’s unique blend of local crafts and seasonal foods, surrounded by Bath’s historic buildings, creates a picturesque setting.

“Bath’s market is one of the most beautiful in the UK,” comments Halliday. “Its old-world charm makes it a unique destination for visitors looking for a more intimate Christmas experience.”

Lincoln Christmas Market, with 14,000 hashtags, offers a smaller, more traditional experience nestled by the city’s historic cathedral. Known for its warm, intimate atmosphere, this market ranks fifth and attracts visitors looking for a quintessential Christmas setting.

“Lincoln’s market might be smaller, but it has a charm that’s hard to match,” says Halliday. “With everything from mulled wine to handcrafted ornaments, it captures the heart of Christmas.”
