festive family fun

Festive family fun Farnham Maltings is preparing for a magical festive season with its production of Christmas in Exeter Street. Based on Diana Hendry and John Lawrence’s charming children’s book, the show runs from Friday 13th December to Tuesday 24th December 2024, offering a heartwarming treat for families.

A story bursting with festive family fun & chaos

The story revolves around Maggie Mistletoe, who prepares to host her usual family Christmas. However, Christmas Eve brings a steady stream of unexpected guests—from eccentric Uncle Bartholomew, fresh from Australia, to five aunts from Abingdon with their three Pekingese dogs. The big question: where will everyone sleep?

Featuring 37 characters, 7 animals, and 10 musical instruments, this lively production delivers brand-new songs, humour, and festive magic. Perfect for anyone aged three and up, it promises to capture the chaotic joy of a full house at Christmas.
