November kicked off the start of an exciting few weeks at McDonald’s where families can discover a range of Grinchmas festive surprises in over 150 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK.
To kick off the festivities The Grinch™ himself will be showing up all over the UK spreading festive cheer.
Grinch themed book and toys:
When you choose between a book or toy, each limited Happy Meal® could include one of five bespoke plush Grinch™ toys, a special “Grinchy Tales Twelve days of Grinchmas” book or one of three Grinchy games listed below:
- Grinchy Families & Pairs
- Grinchy Snap & Match
- Grinchy Charades
Life size Grinch™ meet and greets:
The Grinch™ will also be making his way to over 150 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK, so families are in with an opportunity to meet him face to face – participating restaurants can be found HERE. Those dining in restaurants will benefit from Grinch™ themed activity sheets alongside restaurant activation kits with Grinch flags and headbands,
Whilst Drive Thru customers will receive a Grinchmas Family Fun Pack including a Christmas card activity, festive board game and crayons.
Digital Grinchy games:
Children can also participate in a Grinch™ mission accessible via a bespoke Grinch™ themed digital play design using tables and tablets in selected restaurants across the UK&I. Whilst playing the game ‘A Grinchmas Surprise’ families will need to help bring Christmas to Who-Ville by decorating the town with Max and the Grinch™.
Reindeer Ready Live
Launching w/c 23rd December, families will be able to access Reindeer Ready Live – an Augmented Reality tool which allows parents to film a reindeer in their living room and show the reindeer eating the treats left out on Christmas Eve. Reindeer Ready treats will also have a Grinchmas twist, with carrot sticks available in a Grinchy design.
