Legoland parking - what's the difference between standard and priority?

LEGOLAND Windsor delivered a brilliant family day out that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and imagination, with vibrant LEGO sculptures and themed areas immediately capturing the children’s attention.

A standout highlight was the mythical LEGO creature ride — a fantastic mix of storytelling and thrills. It struck the perfect balance between excitement and accessibility, entertaining both younger children and adults alike. We also loved the boat rides, which offered a gentler pace and gorgeous views of the park’s colourful LEGO scenery.

We were pleasantly surprised by the 4D cinema shows. With water sprays, gusts of wind, and other playful effects, they had everyone laughing, jumping, and fully immersed. It was a delightful way to chill while still being thoroughly entertained.

Miniland, featuring miniature LEGO models of global landmarks, was utterly breathtaking. From Buckingham?Palace to the Eiffel?Tower, the detail and artistry were astonishing — a must-see for any LEGO fan.

The park is brilliantly inclusive, catering to children of all ages, including toddlers. Gentle rides, splash zones, play areas, and shaded quieter spots ensured even our littlest family members had a fab time without feeling overwhelmed.

In terms of value, advance tickets were around £29–£36 per person, with on-the-day prices rising to £68, depending on the date. We found these to be fair given the park’s extensive offerings. However, one thing we regretted was not buying the fast-track option, Reserve & Ride. Prices start at £24 per person online (or £29 on the day) for the Regular tier, which covers up to 24 rides Higher tiers — Express (£39 online / £49 on the day) or Ultimate (£59 / £74 on the day) — further cut wait times or add rides .

We felt that investing in at least the Regular fast pass would have significantly reduced our time spent queuing, especially during peak hours, allowing us to enjoy more attractions stress-free. Given that wait times on popular rides can reach 60–90 minutes, the fast pass starts to feel like great value.

The refillable drink cups were another smart addition – perfect for staying refreshed on a warm day. Food options were varied and child-friendly, although queue times for meals were long during peak periods.

All in all, LEGOLAND Windsor is a joyful blend of creativity, fun, and practical planning. We had an unforgettable day and are already planning our next trip — this time, with fast passes! Highly recommended for a magical and hassle-free family adventure.
