Wear it pink on Friday 24 October 2025 to support breast cancer research and care

Join one of the UK’s biggest fundraising days

Wear it pink returns on Friday 24 October 2025 to raise money for Breast Cancer Now’s research and support. This colourful annual event unites schools, workplaces and communities to wear pink and raise vital funds. Whether you choose bold pink outfits or quirky costumes, every effort helps drive change.

Since 2001, wear it pink has raised over £43 million. The 2025 campaign marks its 24th year and comes during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast Cancer Now wants everyone diagnosed with breast cancer to live and to live well by 2050. Wearing pink this October will bring that goal one step closer.

Why wear pink matters more than ever

Every 10 minutes, someone in the UK hears the words “you have breast cancer”. It remains the most common cancer among women and impacts more lives each year. Your pink outfit and fundraising could fund life-saving research or provide information and emotional support when people need it most.

Funds raised help Breast Cancer Now campaign for better treatments, quicker diagnoses, and improved support services. From school bake sales to office fancy dress, every pink-themed idea can make a difference.

How to get involved this October

Get creative and wear something pink at home, work or school. Invite friends and family to join you and turn the day into a celebration of support and hope. Whether you donate a little or a lot, your involvement will help keep Breast Cancer Now’s expert nurses, free helpline and online support forums running.
