The first thing we did on reviewing this colourful book is check we knew the words! This lively, humorous book introduces 7-12 year olds to truly colossal words. The clever thing is its written in rhyme. So no ordinary definitions instead they are poems! This helps children remember and enjoy learning new words, plus (even more importantly) their meaning.
