CadburyWorld’s Chocolate Pumpkin Patch: Everything You Need to Know Before You Go
Halloween is just around the corner, and Cadbury World has pulled out all the stops with a deliciously spooky display that’s sure to delight both chocolate lovers and Halloween fans alike. For the first time ever, the beloved Bournville-based attraction has unveiled its very own *chocolate pumpkin patch*. Here’s everything you need to know before you visit.
What’s the Chocolate Pumpkin Patch?
Cadbury World’s chocolatiers have been hard at work crafting 30 unique pumpkins made entirely from milk and white chocolate. Each pumpkin weighs an impressive 800g—equivalent to a whopping 533 standard Cadbury Dairy Milk bars! The pumpkins are individually hand-decorated, with some featuring traditional Halloween messages, while others boast creative designs like *Day of the Dead* motifs, spiders, and even a cheeky pumpkin covered in white chocolate footprints with the playful message, “Smell my feet.”
When and Where Can You See It?
The chocolate pumpkin patch is on display at the main entrance of Cadbury World in Bournville, Birmingham, from October 5 to 31. This gives you nearly a full month to soak in the autumnal atmosphere and marvel at the detailed handiwork of Cadbury’s chocolatiers. And if you can’t get enough of the pumpkins, visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase their very own handcrafted chocolate pumpkin to take home.
What Makes These Pumpkins Special?
Each pumpkin is made using a mould, and once the Dairy Milk chocolate is poured in, they are snapped together using a magnet and placed on a spinning machine to ensure the chocolate settles evenly. From there, the real artistry begins. As chocolatier Dawn Jenks explains, “All of our pumpkins are unique. Every one is made by hand and hand-decorated, so no two are the same.”
This level of craftsmanship is what makes the display truly special. Whether it’s the delicate floral designs, the eerie ghosts, or the intricate spider webs, each pumpkin is a work of art as well as a treat for the tastebuds.
Why Visit Cadbury World This Halloween?
In addition to the chocolate pumpkin patch, Cadbury World promises a “choc-tastic” Halloween experience for visitors of all ages. Alongside the edible display, there are plenty of activities to keep families entertained throughout the spooky season. General Manager Gerrard Baldwin praises the chocolatiers’ efforts, saying, “The time, patience, and intricacy that has gone into creating hundreds of these detailed, hand-crafted pumpkins really is spectacular.”
Whether you’re a chocolate enthusiast, a Halloween fanatic, or just looking for a fun family day out, the chocolate pumpkin patch is sure to be a highlight of your visit.
Plan Your Trip
The Cadbury chocolate pumpkin patch will be on display until October 31, so make sure to visit before it’s gone! Tickets to Cadbury World are available here, and be sure to check their website for opening times and special Halloween events. Don’t miss your chance to indulge in the sweetest of spooky experiences this autumn!
