Hamleys Kicks Off the Festive Season with Magical Christmas Window Unveiling!

Britain’s most loved toy store has unveiled its world-famous Christmas Windows with entertainment galore and live performances, plus HARIBO giveaways!

Hamleys has officially begun its countdown to Christmas with the unveiling of its highly anticipated Christmas Windows at the world-famous toy shop on Regent Street in London.

Known for its magical displays and festive spirit, this year’s unveiling was a truly unforgettable event for families and Christmas lovers alike. Crowds gathered to see Hamleys’ Christmas Window themes for 2024, which celebrate the magic of three beloved film franchises: Wicked, Harry Potter and Paddington Bear.

As the curtains opened, families were entranced by the breathtaking winter wonderland window, created in collaboration with Warner Bros. The window showcases enchanting scenes from Christmas in the Wizarding World, featuring iconic elements from Hogwarts, magical creatures, and picturesque snowy landscapes. Designed to mesmerize children and families alike, this whimsical window invites everyone to experience the magic of the season and the beloved universe of Harry Potter.

Paddington-themed Christmas window

The flagship shop also unveiled a charming Paddington-themed Christmas window, inspired by Paddington in Peru, due to launch this month.  This nostalgic setup gives families an opportunity to immerse themselves in Paddington’s world, filled with scenes and props from his journey back to Peru. The display is perfect for families and tourists who want to capture festive photos during their visit.

Finally, the Wicked window display brings the world of Oz to life on Regent Street with a window dedicated to the long-awaited Wicked: Part One film, set to release on 27th November.

The Hamleys Christmas Window Unveiling marks the start of Christmas, with a spectacular event that included performances by a brass band to set the mood with classic Christmas carols. Leading the singalong was none other than vocalist Joe Palmer, plus performances by incredible talents, such as Red, Red, Red to get the whole crowd into the holiday spirit. Of course, no Hamleys event would be complete without the appearance of the iconic Hamley Bear and his famous troop of playful Elves, as well as a host of beloved characters, who were on hand to spread joy and laughter.

The Hamleys Christmas Windows are a must-see for anyone looking to experience the true joy and magic of Christmas. Families, friends, and visitors of all ages are invited to visit the iconic shop on Regent Street to see the windows in the lead up to Christmas, join the fun and immerse themselves in the festive excitement that only Hamleys can deliver.

Beyond the windows, Hamleys has expanded its festive experience in-store with interactive events, including meet-and-greet opportunities with Santa, workshops, and themed shopping for visitors seeking festive magic. This setup reflects Hamleys’ long-standing tradition of imaginative Christmas windows, which continue to be a major draw for Christmas shoppers and families alike throughout November and December.
