Hamleys & Friends May 2025 & Half Term
Hamleys welcomes families for Hamleys & Friends, a week-long May Half Term celebration from 26th May to 1st June. This heartwarming event honours friendship and kicks off Hamleys’ 265th birthday at the world-famous Regent Street store and select locations across the UK.
The store bursts into life with activities, shows, and character appearances, designed to bring joy to all generations. Hamleys promises a magical atmosphere where imagination takes centre stage.

Start each day with a special Opening Ceremony, as Hamleys invites one lucky visitor to help unlock the magic and open the doors. Children can meet Hamley Bear for a selfie or enjoy a family dance-along at The Melody of Memories.
Watch the Bear-illiant Parade as Hamley Bear and friends march through the store with music and smiles. Adventure seekers will love Pirate’s First Adventure, a lively storytime perfect for little explorers.
Join the laughter with the Memory Machine Madness Show, filled with surprises and time-travel fun. Budding artists can get creative in the Third Floor Creative Corner with origami and colouring sessions. Don’t forget the giveaways – everyone takes home magical keepsakes like friendship bracelets and stickers.

The excitement continues throughout the month with exclusive themed events.
On 3rd and 4th May, enjoy a LEGO® Star Wars™ Make & Take event alongside the Star Wars Weekend. Families can meet Jedi Hamley Bear, Princess Leia Hattie Bear, and Stormtroopers while enjoying face painting and Jedi training.
10th and 11th May brings Thomas the Tank Engine’s 80th birthday celebrations. Join characters like Dusty and Sir Topham Hatt for competitions, cupcakes and train-themed fun.
Meet the adorable Sylvanian Families on 27th May at both Regent Street and Westfield. Then on 29th May, join Peppa Pig’s Baby Shower, complete with themed surprises and photo opportunities.
