Octonauts: Above & Beyond launches at Kew Gardens this Easter
28 March – 12 April 2026 Families are invited to join a new interactive outdoor trail for young nature explorers. Designed for children aged 3–6 Free, drop-in experience included with standard entry (with £1 ticket offer available for recipients of Universal Credit, Pension credit and other legacy benefits)
Inspired by The Honeybee Rescue episode, young visitors will follow an Octonauts mission around the Gardens in search of honeybees that have lost their home. Along the trail, children will take part in a series of activity stations, helping to find the bees, build a new hive, and transport them safely, while discovering how pollination works, why plants matter, and the vital role insects play in healthy ecosystems.

Eden Camp announces action-packed Easter lineup and Living History Weekend

Eden Camp has announced an action-packed Easter holiday with a lineup of family-friendly activities, interactive workshops, and living history experiences. From 30th March to 12th April 2026, visitors can explore wartime Britain through hands-on fun, immersive exhibits, and engaging storytelling, with the return of the Living History Weekend on 4th-5th April.
The Great Easter Egg-scape Trail – Every day
Families are invited to take on a challenge with Eden Camp’s Easter Egg-scape Trail. Explore the museum, hunt for hidden eggs, crack secret clues, and decode a wartime mystery message. Successful detectives will receive a treat from the shop as a reward for their efforts.
Easter Holiday Interactive Workshops
- Carrots on a Stick – 12pm-1pm on selected dates – Take a step back in time and discover a wartime Easter treat – Carrots on a Stick. During WWII sugar rationing, children enjoyed carrots as a natural ice lolly. In this activity, kids can decorate their own carrot ‘lollies’ with honey and sprinkles, learning a delicious bit of history as they go.
- Propaganda Egg Art – 12pm-1pm on selected dates – Explore how powerful messages were communicated during the war to influence behaviour and boost morale, and decorate eggs with bold colours, slogans, and symbols.
Beaulieu celebrates Easter with family fun and a new look for the National Motor Museum.

Families are invited to celebrate Easter at Blenheim Palace as the UNESCO World Heritage Site unveils an action-packed programme of seasonal activities across the Walled Garden and Adventure Play from 3rd to 6th April.

Mini Golf by UrbanCrazy

Take on nine holes of mini golf themed around your favourite Horniman attractions – tee-off from the Clocktower, putt past the walrus, and try for a birdie at the Butterfly House. Perfect for family fun, or for challenging competitive friends.
The course has wheelchair access and adapted putters for wheelchair users, as well as putters for the kids.

Easter Scavenger Hunt – 28th March-12th April
At Pickering and Goathland stations, little ones can search for colourful Easter egg boards that are hidden around the stations and unscramble the mystery letters to identify the missing word. Correct entries will be in with the chance to win an Easter egg.
Station Stay & Play – 1st April, 9.30-11am
These new sessions – on the first Wednesday of every month at Pickering Station Classroom – are for under 5s, and encourage play and exploration with soft play foam blocks, tunnels, and train tracks, where children can push along steam engines and music train toys. There is also a Cosy Corner sensory area for stories and quiet play, as well as a Building Base with Mega Bloks train sets and educational building blocks.
Station Storytime – 8th April, 10.30-11.30am
Families will enjoy a reading of 21 Elephants and Still Standing by April Jones Prince, which tells the true story of how P.T. Barnum led 21 elephants across Brooklyn Bridge in 1884 to demonstrate its strength.
Build a Bridge Challenge – 3rd-9th April, 9.30am-4.30pm
This drop-in activity challenges families to build a bridge over a moving model train track in five minutes or less. Using magnetic building tiles, little engineers must ensure the train can pass underneath whilst a toy car can drive across the top. Free play activities will be available during busier periods.
Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn

Easter crafting sessions which includes creating egg wreaths (30th March), paper daffodils (31st March), Easter cards (2nd April), chocolate Easter nests (3rd April), cute bunny headbands (6th April) and Easter colouring sessions (10th April).

Sundown Adventureland

A magical grotto where Eggbert the Easter bunny will be hiding, giving out chocolate to every child that visits. As well as the themed grotto, children will also take part in green-fingered activities, including cress-growing which guests will be able to take home and watch flourish.
The new grotto will complement the annual Easter Eggtravaganza trail, which encourages explorers to spring into action and find Eggbert’s hidden eggs that are secretly stashed away across the many play areas, rides and attractions at the iconic park.
Families can continue the egg-citement across the park, where they’ll find over 30 rides, play areas and attractions to enjoy. Avoid getting splashed by dastardly pirates on the Jolly Pirate Barrel Ride, spot everyone’s favourite farmyard animals on the Tractor Ride, or travel through the wild west on Rocky Mountain Railroad.

HOP into a world of wildlife this Easter with London Zoo’s Zoo-normous Egg Hunt – a giant, clue-cracking animal adventure included free with every ticket.
Clues have been planted in London Zoo’s Easter Garden, and young visitors will need to employ their best eggs-plorer skills to track them down, before heading out into the wild to find six Zoo-normous eggs.
Taking part in ZSL’s 200th anniversary year, the Zoo-normous Egg Hunt will include a special birthday-inspired twist for 2026. Each giant, animal-themed egg reveals a secret letter, and young adventurers will piece them together to crack the final answer and claim their egg-cellent prize, all the while enjoying a spring day out surrounded by wildlife from around the world.
