Midsummer Glow Fest arrives at Penshurst

Families looking for unique summer events can discover a magical evening experience this season. Midsummer Glow Fest returns to Penshurst Place, brought by The Festival Theatre, and transforms historic gardens into an immersive theatre adventure. This family event combines outdoor theatre, live music, food and performance in one unforgettable setting.

Set among one of England’s most beautiful historic estates, visitors can wander through hidden garden paths and discover surprising performances around every corner. The experience creates a perfect summer evening for families, couples and theatre lovers.

Book tickets at or call the box office on 07379 488477.

Hidden Midsummer Glow Fest performances create garden adventures

Guests move through atmospheric spaces that include Italian gardens, rose-lined pathways and peaceful ponds. Every area reveals something unexpected. Audiences experience the gardens as living theatre rather than simply walking through them.

New Creations Collective returns after last year’s memorable performance inspired by Swan Lake. This immersive ballet company promises another exclusive production created especially for Penshurst Place. However, organisers continue to keep details secret.

Meanwhile, performer Jon Hicks also joins the line-up. His energetic live painting performances mix speed, creativity and entertainment with a powerful soundtrack. His unique style continues to surprise audiences worldwide.

Music and summer food complete the experience

The Mino Mano Band brings a relaxed soundtrack to Lime Tree Walk. Led by Lisa Marini and Arthur Newell, the group combines pop, soul and jazz influences. Guests can enjoy songs from artists including Billie Eilish, Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac and Otis Redding.

Food lovers also have plenty to enjoy throughout the evening. Visitors can choose wood-fired pizza from The Eden Garden Kitchen, Chilean hotdogs from El Completo and a traditional hog roast from Baxters Catering. Ice cream, cakes and drinks also remain available throughout the night.

A grand finale promises surprises

The evening finishes with an extraordinary finale featuring aerial performances around a classic London taxi. Original live music and inventive staging create a dramatic ending beneath the midsummer sky.

Tickets cost £30 for adults, £25 for children and £95 for families with two adults and up to three childrent
