World Kindness Day 2026: free resources to bring kindness into class

World Kindness Day is Friday 13 November. Free Premier League Primary Stars resources help primary pupils put kindness into practice before Anti-Bullying Week.
World Kindness Day 2026

World Kindness Day falls on Friday 13 November 2026, just before Anti-Bullying Week (16 to 20 November). For many primary schools, that timing makes it the perfect starting point for a wider conversation about how pupils treat one another.

Kindness is often talked about in general terms. For teachers who want to make it concrete, free resources from Premier League Primary Stars use football to explore what kindness looks like in practice, from the words pupils choose to how they respond when someone is treated unfairly.

World Kindness Day resources for the primary classroom

Kicking Around Kindness asks pupils to think about how their behaviour affects others. It covers what bullying is, how to report it and the impact words can have. The resource combines a classroom presentation with a physical activity session, which can be taught together as a PSHE lesson or separately.

In the Spread Kindness Challenge, Dr Alex George explains in a short video that kindness benefits the person showing it as well as the people around them. Pupils then draw acts of kindness they could carry out, before putting them into practice.

Kindness as something active

Other resources treat kindness as something pupils actively do:

  • Power for Good, created with the Anti-Bullying Alliance, explores the role bystanders can play when they see bullying.
  • No Room for Racism: Allyship, for Key Stages 1 and 2, introduces the idea of being an ally, with a film in which Premier League and Women’s Super League players discuss diversity and allyship.

A Diversity Lead at a school in London said of the programme’s resources: “…the fact that the resources are engaging, make the subject relatable and are easy to use enables us as teachers to facilitate discussions on important topics…”

The resources are free for teachers who register with Premier League Primary Stars.
