One of the UK’s most compelling historical exhibitions is coming to Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre in Hampshire this autumn. Titanic Exhibition: Farnborough, presented by White Star Heritage, opens for a limited four week run from 23 October to 21 November 2026.
The exhibition brings together an extraordinary collection of authentic Titanic artefacts, immersive recreations and real passenger stories. It gives visitors a rare chance to explore the story of the world’s most famous ocean liner through objects directly connected to the ship and the people who sailed on her.
Rare artefacts on display
Among the headline attractions is an original deckchair from R.M.S. Titanic, one of only a handful known to survive. Visitors will also see a fragment of the ship’s aft Grand Staircase recovered from the seabed, a genuine Titanic lifeboat plaque and original cabin fragments brought up from the ocean floor. Several of these pieces are considered among the rarest Titanic artefacts in existence.
The exhibition traces the complete Titanic story, from her construction in Belfast and lavish interiors through to the events of her maiden voyage and her final resting place beneath the Atlantic. Carefully preserved artefacts sit alongside detailed recreations, personal accounts and interactive elements designed to bring the history to life.
On arrival, every visitor receives the identity of a real passenger who sailed aboard Titanic, so they can follow that individual’s story throughout the exhibition. Guests can also explore recreations of First, Second and Third Class areas, interact with genuine White Star Line artefacts, and even sit in an original Second Class chair.
The exhibition is produced by White Star Heritage, a British team of collectors, historians and conservation experts dedicated to preserving original Titanic artefacts and sharing the ship’s story with the public. Its exhibitions combine genuine artefacts with multimedia displays, set recreations and educational content, aiming to celebrate the ship’s legacy while treating its tragedy with respect.
