Alexandra Palace Fireworks 2026

Alexandra Palace Fireworks & Drone Festival returns this weekend, on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026, with fireworks, a drone show, a bonfire, funfair rides and ice skating against Ally Pally’s sweeping views of the London skyline. For the first time, the event runs across a Saturday and Sunday, and there’s a brand-new Sunday Family Fun Day with an earlier 6pm display.

Billed as London’s longest-running fireworks event, Ally Pally has been staging displays in its grounds since the late 19th century. This year, families can choose between a big Saturday party night and a calmer, more child-friendly Sunday.

Alexandra Palace Fireworks Sunday Family Fun Day

The new Family Fun Day on Sunday 8 November is designed with families in mind. The fireworks and drone display starts at 6pm, two hours earlier than Saturday, and the event closes at 8.30pm, so it works well for a school night.

Capacity is reduced on Sunday too, giving families more room to explore. Activities include:

  • Toasting marshmallows at the firepit
  • The Junior Jungle Kids Rave
  • Funfair rides
  • Ice skating at the indoor Ice Rink
  • Street food with kids’ menus and sweet treats
  • BARRIOKE with Shaun Williamson, star of EastEnders and Extras

Under 10s go free on Sunday with Early Bird tickets, subject to availability. After that, under 10s tickets are £5 in advance. Families can also upgrade to a premium viewing area on Sunday, with some of the best views of the show plus dedicated indoor spaces and facilities.

Simon Fell, Director of Events and Festivals at Alexandra Park and Palace, said: “Saturday is our big festival party night, while on Sunday, we’re reducing capacity and bringing the show forward, so families have more space and time to enjoy everything the Fireworks and Drone Festival has to offer.”

Drone show by Britain’s Got Talent finalists

The headline show is the same on both days. Drone specialists Celestial, runners-up on Britain’s Got Talent 2026, return for a third year to send hundreds of choreographed drones into the sky before the fireworks take over. The whole display is set to a specially curated soundtrack.

Saturday Party Night

Saturday 7 November is the full festival night out, running from 4pm to 10.30pm with the fireworks and drone display at 8pm. Expect music and DJs including a headline set from Eats Everything, a roaring bonfire, funfair rides, ice skating and street food, cocktails and craft beer from StrEATlife.

Inside the Palace, the Great Hall becomes a giant German Bier Festival with oompah bands, live music and a Queen tribute act.

Watch from the Ally Pally rooftop

For the first time, a limited number of visitors can watch the show from the top of Alexandra Palace itself with SUMMIT, the Ally Pally Rooftop Adventure. Billed as the UK’s highest roof walk, it offers 360-degree views across London from 130 metres above sea level as the display unfolds.
