Big Burns Supper has unveiled the full food and beverage line-up for Rabbie’s Winter Village, the bustling heart of the festival’s Northern Lights programme. Open daily from 12pm to 11pm, the Winter Village will run throughout the festival period, bringing together street food favourites, local producers, craft drinks, and live music in the centre of Dumfries.

Alongside five days of live performances on the Rabbie’s Community Stage and Supper Club, the Winter Village will also host the brand-new Taste of South Scotland Market, taking place from 16 to 18 January. The market will showcase food and drink producers from across the region, with talks and demonstrations announced closer to the event.

A Feast at the Heart of the Festival

Festival-goers can expect a diverse mix of indulgent comfort food, global flavours and locally loved classics, with something to suit every appetite.

Wow Burger brings unapologetic indulgence to the table, serving stacked steakhouse burgers, loaded chicken fillets, footlong hotdogs, and fully loaded fries. Big flavours, generous portions, and zero restraint define this crowd-pleasing favourite.

Brigston & Co Hotdog elevates the humble hot dog with craft-smoked Scottish beef and pork sausages, blended with a secret mix of herbs and spices and smoked over beechwood. With inventive toppings, homemade sauces, and standout sides, including Parmesan and rosemary chips, their menu caters for meat lovers and vegetarians alike.

J&I Sliders deliver bold, festival-ready flavours with juicy sliders, loaded fries, gourmet wraps, fresh salads, and sweet treats, all designed to be vibrant, satisfying, and perfect for eating on the go.

El Dorado Taqueria brings a taste of Mexico to Dumfries, serving slow-cooked birria beef tacos, flavour-packed vegetarian options, and sweet corn desserts, alongside refreshing agua frescas and classic Jarritos soft drinks.

Pizza Geeks put a playful spin on classic pizza with inventive toppings and a sense of humour. From haggis and black pudding to sweet chilli sauces and quirky sides, their menu combines comfort food with creativity and plenty of personality.

For those craving a traditional supper, Moore’s Fish & Chips arrives from Castle Douglas with award-winning haddock, golden chips, and decades of family-run expertise. A proper Scottish chippy experience, wrapped and ready to enjoy.

Johnstone Salt & Chilli serves up crispy salt and chilli chicken in burgers, wraps and wings, alongside donuts, hot chocolates, coffee, and indulgent sweet treats. Cheesy chips, curry sauce, and baked goods round out a menu designed for maximum comfort.

Rounding out the offering, Crepe Bar by Bake will be serving freshly made sweet and savoury crepes, fluffy pancakes, deluxe milkshakes, and rich hot chocolates, offering a perfect pause between performances or a sweet end to the evening.

Craft Drinks and Local Spirits

The Winter Village bar offering will be strengthened by a trio of standout drinks partners. Darkfield Distillery and Bigger Distillery will bring locally crafted spirits to the festival, while Five Kingdoms Brewery will serve up quality beer brewed close to home. Together, they add a strong regional identity to the drinks menu, celebrating Dumfries and Galloway’s growing reputation for craft production.
