The Halloween Circus is rolling back into town — and it’s bringing all the tricks and treats! After last year’s sold-out magic, the Circus of Dreams is returning to Chessington Garden Centre Surrey for 13 dazzling days, from October 11th to November 2nd. Expect jaw-dropping stunts, giggle-worthy moments, and a sprinkle of spooky sparkle. Don’t miss the most thrilling show of the season!
Dare to venture through the cursed remains of a long-abandoned ghost town this Halloween? Halloween VR Ride will be open on the times and dates of the circus!

Chessington World of Adventures has a whole host of haunted happenings this Halloween.
Whether it’s brand-new spooky shows, fancy dress contests or scary roller coaster rides at dusk, there’s something for all the family to enjoy.
The Howl’o’ween fun takes place on 4th and 5th, and 11th and 12th October, before opening daily from 18th October to 2nd November 2025 and will be jam-packed with spooks for visitors young and old.
Guests can enjoy spellbinding new shows and interactive experiences that are sure to get everyone into the Halloween spirit:
- Spelltacular! sees a group of buzzing wizards and witches work with the audience to reverse an accidental spell with a string of magical charms.
- In Rising Flame: Shadows of the Tomb, a ceremonial spectacle unfolds before sand-stricken eyes as mummified monsters summon their ancient leader through roaring pyrotechnics, sandy storms, and heart-pounding dynamic dance.
- Guests can throw some shapes at the Barnyard Boogie with a musical duo ready to dance the night away in a pumpkin patch.
- Brave souls can enter the Stone Watchers: The Vampires Lair scarezone (if you dare) but beware of the gargoyle statues coming to life and chasing intruders away.
Thrill seekers can also take a ride on some of their favourite roller coasters at dusk, including Mandrill Mayhem, Dragon’s Fury, and the spooktacular, aptly named Vampire.
Families can extend their spooky season experience with a Howl’o’ween short break at one of Chessington’s resort hotels, complete with special themed experiences. Prices start from £34 per person (based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing a standard room with bed and breakfast), including early ride time**; and Rangers Academy children’s hotel entertainment.

Halloween At Kenwood runs from 17 October to 2 November 2025. The Hampstead Heath landmark transforms into a spooktacular illuminated trail with eerie installations, ghostly encounters, and immersive soundscapes. Families can meet the Headless Horseman, watch the chilling fire show Incantation, and crawl through the glowing Spider’s Tunnel.
Thrills, food and family memories
Guests explore a moonlit graveyard, marvel at laser displays, and see Kenwood’s grand façade transformed with spooky projections. Seasonal treats include Trick or Treat pizzas, Vampire Dogs, and indulgent hot chocolates, served by Freemans Event Partners. Children can wear costumes, and dogs join the fun too.

This October half-term, families discover marmalade magic and spooky surprises at The Paddington Bear™ Experience. From Saturday 18 October to Sunday 2 November 2025, Windsor Gardens glows with autumn colours and festive fun.
Special Halloween package for children
From 3pm daily, guests upgrade their visit with a Trick-or-Treat package for £10 per child. Halloween fun at Paultons Park
Paultons Park hosts its Halloween 2025 Spooktacular from 16 October to 3 November 2025. Families can enjoy Peppa Pig World, themed decorations, and interactive shows. The Great Halloween Mystery Show features Pickles the Pumpkin solving a spooky puzzle with the Spirit Squad. Children can learn dance moves at Ghoul School and join The Little Monsters Ball.
New Ghostly Manor dark ride
The brand-new Ghostly Manor ride invites guests to step into a supernatural world. Families explore haunted artefacts and meet eerie apparitions as they follow paranormal investigator Dr Kinley. Ghostly Manor joins over 70 rides and attractions across the park.
Late-night openings and short breaks

Portsmouth will host the UK’s first ApolloDomes this October at Gunwharf Quays. The international immersive brand launches with ‘Pumpkinville’, a Halloween adventure for families and adults from 24 October to 2 November 2025.

Scream Time is a new Halloween trail designed to be spooktacular with terrifying scare points and hair-raising moments. The events are being brought to you by the team who deliver the popular Great British Food Festival and Luminate, light trail.
With eerie installations and terrifying scare actors who will remain in character playing nightmare roles Scream Time is set in suitably gothic locations in Wales, Yorkshire and Derbyshire. The adult trail, Scream Time is not for the faint hearted and suitable for ages 15 and over. Be sure to bring friends!
For the younger visitors and those who prefer a less terrifying experience we invite you to Spooky Time, a family trail, which plays on the gentler themes of Halloween.
Visitors will be able to calm their minds at the with hot chocolate, marshmallows, and delicious spooky themed street food alongside monster face painting, carnival rides and other activities for children and adults.
