Midnight in the Toyshop, a brand-new family theatre adventure, comes to London’s West End for a limited Easter holidays run from Tuesday 7 to Sunday 12 April 2026 at St Martin’s Theatre. Perfect for families with young children, the show is suitable for ages 3+ and runs at convenient, family-friendly times.

Following the success of Magical Merlin, which played to enthusiastic audiences at the same venue last autumn, Perform Productions returns to the West End with another joyful, imaginative mini-musical packed with catchy songs, dazzling dance routines and heart-warming storytelling. St Martin’s Theatre is also famously home to The Mousetrap, the world’s longest-running play.

Designed as an ideal Easter holiday family day out in London, Midnight in the Toyshop invites audiences into a magical toyshop where, as the clock strikes midnight, the toys come to life. When tech entrepreneur Peyton Pixel threatens to replace the toyshop with an AI experience centre, the toys must band together to prove that real children still want real toys. Led by Belle Ballerina, Rebel Racer and Grumble the Dinosaur, the team embark on an adventurous race against time to save their home before daybreak—celebrating friendship, imagination and play along the way.

Perform Productions is run by Lucy Quick and Will Barnett, the creative team behind the sold-out West End runs of Jungle Rumble (2022) and Magical Merlin (2025). They are also the founders of Perform, one of the UK’s leading drama schools for children aged 4–12. In 2023, they launched Perform in the Park, a six-week family theatre festival at Coram’s Fields, further establishing their reputation for high-quality children’s theatre and creative education.
