If you’re looking for the perfect autumn aesthetic this season, the team at fashion brand Aurélien has compiled a list of Britain’s best autumn walks by analysing Instagram hashtags for popular trails across the UK.

Glen Coe in Scotland has emerged as the UK’s most Instagrammed autumn walk, with 671,000 hashtags marking its dramatic landscapes and rugged peaks. Favoured by photographers for its moody autumn light, Glen Coe’s mix of mountains, valleys, and waterfalls makes it an iconic destination for walkers and social media alike.

The Coast to Coast trail, stretching across northern England from Whitehaven to Sunderland, comes second with 661,000 hashtags. Its variety of landscapes, from coastal stretches to rural dales, offers striking seasonal photography opportunities, making it a firm favourite among both hikers and Instagram users.

Loch Ness takes third place with 572,000 hashtags. Beyond the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, the trail around this famous freshwater loch offers reflective waters framed by autumn colours, drawing photographers from across the UK and beyond.
