Kids Week returns for 2025: Free theatre tickets for children

Kids Week, the popular annual initiative by the Society of London Theatre, returns in summer 2025. Families can enjoy top West End performances while saving on tickets. From 21 July to 31 August, children aged 17 and under go free to selected shows when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 10 June, only via Official London Theatre.

Enjoy world-class theatre with your children at Kids Week

For every full-paying adult, up to two extra children’s tickets are available at half price. There are no booking fees, making it easier for families to enjoy live theatre. With many performances to choose from, this summer event opens the door to unforgettable theatre experiences across London.

Workshops and activities make it extra special

Kids Week isn’t just about watching the show. Children can take part in fun workshops and activities that bring the stage to life. These behind-the-scenes events offer a glimpse into theatre production — from costume design to stage direction. Details of participating shows and workshops will be revealed soon.

A summer tradition that keeps growing

Known as ‘the longest week in summer’, Kids Week now spans six weeks of the school holidays. It started in 1998 as a one-week promotion and has welcomed more than 2.5 million children and families since. This year promises another packed programme of shows, learning and excitement.

Book early to secure the best seats for Kids Week

Tickets are available only at Official London Theatre. Theatre Tokens are accepted and can be used towards Kids Week bookings. With huge interest expected, early booking is strongly recommended.

Kids Week is a not-for-profit initiative by the Society of London Theatre, which champions access to live theatre for all. Don’t miss this family-friendly celebration of London’s world-famous stage.
