Step into summer with wonder and nature

Meet the Wombles on the garden trail at RHS Hampton Court

This summer, the iconic Wombles return in a creative and nostalgic celebration. Families can explore a special Wombles-themed trail featuring three stunning dried flower Womble sculptures. Children can collect prizes along the way while enjoying the colourful gardens. On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July, costumed Wombles will greet visitors for unforgettable family photo moments.

Fun and learning in the Go Wild Family area

The Go Wild Family area encourages young minds to explore gardening and wildlife. The Schools Bug Barrels, part of the RHS Campaign for School Gardening, give children from schools and youth groups the chance to design and plant upcycled oil drums. These mini-gardens celebrate biodiversity and showcase children’s creativity. Families can view these displays and learn how gardening supports the natural world.

Join the Skinny Jean Gardener Mini Festival RHS Hampton Court

TV favourite Skinny Jean Gardener brings his interactive gardening zone to the Festival. His fun and educational sessions help children and families discover gardening with hands-on activities. Whether sowing seeds or building bug homes, the Skinny Jean Gardener makes nature exciting and accessible for all ages.

Try something new with Kingston Forest School

Kingston Forest School invites families to reconnect with nature through outdoor learning. Children can build dens, forage, and enjoy sensory workshops in a peaceful, natural setting. These activities encourage curiosity and build a lasting love for the outdoors.
