Which supermarkets still have Christmas delivery slots available?

Finding Christmas grocery delivery slots is becoming increasingly challenging as the festive season approaches, but here’s an update on availability from major UK supermarkets based on the latest information, updated 10th December.

If you’re struggling to find a delivery slot, visiting stores early in the day closer to Christmas may also help you avoid crowds and secure last-minute essentials. Keep in mind that supermarkets may introduce reduced vegetable prices or other promotions in the days leading up to Christmas, so plan accordingly to make the most of your budget.

Tesco still has a limited number of delivery slots available as late as December 23rd. However, these are primarily in London, with fewer options earlier in the week. For customers outside the capital, availability is sparse, so it’s worth checking regularly for any changes or cancellations.

Sainsbury's currently has more widespread availability nationwide. Evening slots on December 22nd are still open, and there are numerous options earlier in the week. This makes Sainsbury’s one of the better choices for securing a delivery, regardless of your location.

Waitrose delivery slots are available up to December 21st, but these are largely confined to the London area. Shoppers in other parts of the country may struggle to find suitable times, so it’s advisable to explore Click & Collect as a backup option if delivery isn’t available.

Morrisons has delivery slots up to December 22nd in London but has fewer options elsewhere. For instance, in Manchester, the latest available delivery we could find was December 20th. If you’re outside major cities, it’s a good idea to check frequently for last-minute availability or consider collecting your order.
