The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC)  announce new young performers joining its multi-award-winning production of Matilda The Musical. Now in its 14th year in London, this beloved West End show continues to delight audiences of all ages at the Cambridge Theatre, with tickets available through May 2026 at www.matildathemusical.com.

New young stars take centre stage in Matilda

From 18 March 2025, Suki Hillier, Mia Rogers and Alexis Whitehead will join Angelica Scott in playing the title role of Matilda. The latest cast also welcomes Janai Bartlett, Alexander Beaumont, Kobe Champion-Norville, William Gurney, Arietta Hall, Annabelle Haverson, Chase King, Reuben Laming, Lexi Lancaster, Elsie Laslett, Maxwell McGetrick, Theo Oh, Myla Park, Josh Pegler, Drew Reilly, Harry Relf, Isabella Rummery, Ashley Taylor, Khit Thakhin and Aisha Ugurhan in various roles.

These talented young performers join the existing young cast members Joseph Burrows, Pasquale Folivi AD, Joey Grady, Adam Hussain and Isabelle McLatchie.

A West End favourite

Matilda The Musical has won 101 international awards, including 24 for Best Musical. Now the 15th longest-running show in West End history, it has been enjoyed by over 12 million people worldwide. A major UK and Ireland tour will launch at Leicester Curve on 6 October 2025, giving more families the chance to experience the magic of this inspiring production.

The current adult cast includes Tiffany Graves (Mrs Wormwood), Kieran Hill (Miss Trunchbull), Neil McDermott (Mr Wormwood) and Eve Norris (Miss Honey). The ensemble features Esme Bacalla-Hayes, Pearce Barron, Alex Louize Bird, Reece Budin, Ronan Burns, Dan Cooke, William Elijah-Lewis, Karina Hind, Issy Khogali, Sam Lips, Sam Jeffrey Parkes, Jak Skelly, Gabrielle Davina Smith, Deborah Tracey, Ralph Watts and Dawn Williams.

Based on Roald Dahl’s classic book, the show features a script by Dennis Kelly, music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, and direction by Matthew Warchus. The creative team also includes designer Rob Howell, choreographer Peter Darling, and musical supervisor Christopher Nightingale.
